Fruit Farm Worker, Seasonal
We are looking for five people to join our seasonal crew carrying out tasks such as apple thinning, vineyard leaf removal, summer pruning, tree & vine training, raking, and colour picking apples. This job is physically demanding requiring the use of a ladder on a slope. Successful applicants will work outside in all weather conditions. This job starts in the first half of June and lasts until late October.
Pruner
Apple Pruners remove branches from trees in order to enhance tree structure and to increase sunlight penetration and air circulation. Pruners work in a team of 4 using pneumatic pruners powered by an air compressor attached to a tractor. The use of a pole saw on tops is sometimes required.
