Dorenberg Orchards is a family owned and operated business. We have been growing award winning fruit in Lake Country since 1949. We have 40 acres of high-density apples including Sunrise, Gala & Ambrosia. We also have a 10 acre vineyard. We pride ourselves on high quality production and search for responsible, good natured, self-motivated individuals with a strong work ethic to join our team. Dorm style on-farm accommodation is available. Applicants residing off-farm must have reliable transportation to and from the farm.

Fruit Farm Worker, harvest
The perfect post-cherry, pre-ski season job!
Apple picking is very physically demanding requiring pickers to go up and down a ladder carrying up to 50 lbs of apples. Pickers must move quickly but also handle fruit very delicately to prevent bruising. Harvest is very fast paced; therefore, successful pickers are able to work hard and stay motivated all day long. All of our varieties are colour picked requiring multiple picks (usually 2 or 3).
